I also create watercolour and ink illustrations, which can be bought unframed, and are also made into greeting cards. New! "Tranquility" - Mixed media on Canvas.
I have discovered Kathe Fraga's beautiful modern chinoiserie style artwork, and they have inspired me to do a couple of my own, using some mixed media. I have used acrylic paints, paper, beads, fabric, gesso, impasto paste and glitter on a 20 x 16 inch canvas. I think mine looks a bit shabby chic too? What are your thoughts? Thoroughly enjoyed the experience!

Good morning all! I have discovered the works of Kathe Fraga and I am in love!!! Just love the modern chinoiserie style she does and it really inspired to make something in that kind of style as well. Well, I think Im addicted, I just love the free style of it. Its a cross between the chinoiserie style and shabby chic!! Im loving it, and I hope you do too!
