I have used gorgeous bright acrylic paints in pinks, orange and yellows with aqua and greens to create the vibrant and beautiful mixed media on canvas. The other mediums I have used are impasto paste, pastel pencils, ink sprays, wooden embellishments, paper, glitter and machine sewn, paper flowers made by me.
Above you can see how Ive made the machine sewn flowers made by me on my trusty Brother sewing machine!!

"Expand Your Wings"... mixed media on canvas
Well its school holiday time, which means lazy mornings, and at my house, two rowdy boys, who want to be entertained! So, I was amazed that I was able to finish this 12 x 16 inch mixed media on canvas! I am lucky that my art studio is a pretty large space in my home, and so there was much backwards and forwards travelling up to the studio and back to pulling apart my two boys who were trying to half kill each other!! Its coming to the end of the last week of the school holidays, and I think its time they went back!!
Anyways, I really enjoyed making this piece, and I love the colours together. I think the little glass bottles are really cute too. Inside the bottles I have put glitter, and one word in each. (Imagine, dream and believe). I have used acrylic paints, paper, ink, impasto, glitter, rhinestones, wooden shape, glass bottles, glitter glue and chain.

Winters Garden - Mixed media on canvas
Good afternoon on this dreary cold winters day! I have finished painting this 91 x 76 cm mixed media on canvas titled "Winters Garden". Ive used acrylic paint (metallic silver) fabric, beads, paper, glitter and rhinestones. The colours in these photo's don't show the paintings true colouring during to being photographed on a really overcast day, so the lighting is a bit dark.
$285 plus any postage and handling.
Above you can see one of the fabric flowers, and I took this photo to try and show the truer colours of the fabric, of which is a soft silvery grey.
