It seems like so long since Ive really painted anything bigger than a 12 x 16 inch canvas or an A3 size piece on paper....time is just not on my side, and little by little, Im trying to find my way back to painting. I look around my studio, and there is so many artworks that I have, that I just have not had the time to list in my Etsy store, or really even promote on my Facebook or Instagram page, or even do much with on Pinterest. I just feel like Im chasing my own tail, but I so want to keep creating, and sometimes I am just so tired that I have lost the effort to do so. The following artworks, I have really created out of trying to find and inspire myself to just 'play' around. To try something different or just let my own mind wander. I love to use colour and I have always loved to use flora and fauna as subjects in my artwork. I love to make pretty patterns with stencils, mish mashing colours of ink and acrylic paints together....to find and use different techniques. A lot is just playing around and seeing what comes to mind. This technique is not necessarily a new idea, but for me its finding my groove when I feel so time poor and Im just tired, but ideas are racing in my head. These are $75.00 each.
